Its unique importance is there are three mruthika Brindavanas under the Guru parampara of Sri Viyayeendra Theertharu, Sri Sudheendra Theertharu and Sri Raghavendra Swamy. Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mruthika Brindavana is situated on 10th street,Nanganallur. This temple is next to the pond where the lingam was found. The local people informed the Kanchi Seer, who then installed the lingam. Later the lingam was found in a nearby pond where a washerman was using the lingam as a washing stone.
